NO SCREENS — NO STRUCTURE — JUST PLAY! This year, we are celebrating Global Play Day schoolwide on Fri, Feb 7!

If you’re unfamiliar with Global Play Day, it’s an event promoting the importance of unstructured play, where students (of all grades!) have a large block of time for collaborative play in a non-stressful environment. Free play encourages the development of 21st-century skills like creativity and teamwork. Just as the most imaginative and innovative leaders in business and politics need time away from work to come up with some of their best ideas, so do children need time to play on their own, away from organized lessons, screens, and even adult direct intervention!

Look for more information from each School Director regarding specifics for the day.
