Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic Plan

The JGS community remains strong!

Even with the challenges that the pandemic brings, JGS continues to do everything we can to meet the needs of our students. We’ve been fortunate to be able to remain face-to-face on campus while also ensuring the wellness of our community by adhering to actions that promote a healthy school environment. We plan to continue in-person learning while continually monitoring the situation with guidance from national and local authorities.

FAQs About the 2021-2022 School Year

With the support and cooperation from our community, JGS has been fortunate to have been able to keep things as “normal” as possible for our students and families throughout the duration of the pandemic. While many of the protocols put in place in the spring of 2020 have continued (such as increased cleaning and sanitation schedules), we will be bringing back services such as Extended Day programs and lunch deliveries this school year. Most importantly, we have learned that no matter what comes our way, JGS students and staff possess the fortitude and flexibility to adapt quickly and embrace whatever “normal” may be!

As of March 14, 2022, face coverings are OPTIONAL for students as well as for teachers and staff. As always, we will monitor the situation and make future decisions based on guidance from national and local authorities.
