Wilson® II Certification
Overview
The WRS Level II Certification program is designed to prepare teachers to effectively implement WRS Steps 7-12 with students who are reading and spelling below grade level, as well as those diagnosed with a language-based learning disability, such as dyslexia.
This service provides participants with a Wilson Reading System® Steps 7-12 Practicum and a credential of Wilson® Dyslexia Therapist (W.D.T.).
Prerequisites
- WRS Introductory Course (completed within the last five years); Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- WRS 1 Certification (W.D.P.) achieved.
Duration
- Individuals have 12 months from the date of enrollment to complete the online course and practicum.
Graduate Credit
- Up to nine graduate credits (optional) are available through Fitchburg State Univ., Fitchburg, MA, upon completion of course requirements. Please see wilsonlanguage.com for details.
Workshop Details
All workshops are held in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
All workshops are facilitated by a Wilson® Credentialed Trainer (W.C.T.).
In-person workshops are facilitated at The Jones-Gordon School campus.
