The Jones-Gordon Athletics program develops the interest of all athletes wanting to participate while maintaining academic success and growth. Regardless of experience or skill level, our program is designed to benefit each individual student-athlete’s understanding of sportsmanship, teamwork, competitive balance, and what it means to be truly successful in the game as well as in life.
Programs offered vary by year, as determined by student interest. Many Middle and High School sports are run through Canyon Athletic Association while others are offered as intramural programs.
Additionally, we are proudly registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center, enabling JGS student-athletes to be eligible to play college sports!

Student Government
Student Government (STUGO) offers our 8th-12th graders to develop and demonstrate their leadership skills. Members meet weekly to contribute their student voice in planning events and activities for the greater student population, such as the ever-popular all-school Spirit Weeks. STUGO is active in our community as volunteers at school events, even contributing their time beyond school hours. This student group is expected to have consistent participation and requires a steady commitment of its members.
