Raising Arizona Kids‘ Karen Davis Barr recently spoke with JGS students Yale and Yasha as well as Head of School, Dana Herzberg, for an article in the magazine. Titled, “What it means to be 2E,” the piece describes kids who are known as “twice exceptional”— those who have high intellectual ability coupled with learning differences or other difficulties. The article goes on to discuss the particular challenges that come with a 2e diagnosis and in raising children with twice exceptionalities.
