Join us for imaginative, week-long recreational camps, held at The Jones-Gordon School campus in Paradise Valley: 4800 E. Doubletree Ranch Rd. (1 mile south of Shea Blvd., on the corner of Tatum Blvd. and Doubletree Ranch Rd.).

     

Camp Descriptions:

Week 1: June 7-11

School’s Out, Fun’s in! (Littles)
Entering Grades 3-5; with educator Reid Blakey
School’s out for summer… time to have some fun around town! This camp is packed with field trips including time at the pool! We’ll be letting loose & enjoying stress-free PLAY! School is out, but JGS Summer Camp is IN.

Harry Potter Camp
Entering Grades 3-8; with educator Cady Maharaj
You have been accepted to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry! Create your own Hogwarts uniform; participate in crafts, games, & activities; work towards the Hogwarts House Cup; explore the same subjects Harry studied: Herbology, Potions, Transfiguration, & Care of Magical Creatures. Leave the muggle world behind; join us at Hogwarts!

Happy Campers!
Entering Grades 1-5; with educator Adrienne Springfield
Are you ready for a summer camping adventure? If you have a spirit for adventure but don’t want to camp out in the hot AZ weather, then this camp is for you! Enjoy a camping-like atmosphere with fun camping themed activities.

Arts & Crafts
Entering Grades 1-6; with educator Vickie Shen
Learn about and try different styles of painting, modeling/sculpting with clay, creating a variety of beaded works, experimenting with digital art/photography, doing simple sewing projects, making collages/dream boards, etc. Come get your creativity on!

Animal Training & Rescue
Entering Grades 3-8; with educator Caylin Kacmarcik
Come! Sit! Stay! In this camp, animal enthusiasts work one-on-one with pets to learn the basics of animal training & rescue. You’re sure to have a PAW-some time!

Girl Power!
Entering Grades 1-5; with educator Adrienne Springfield
Girls enjoy fun, interactive activities while developing the skills to be empowered! Each day a different topic is explored with correlating DIY crafts, cooking, yoga, & more.

Around the World
Entering Grades 1-6; with educator Vickie Shen
Get your passports ready & come travel around the world! Each day, we focus on a different country: taste their popular food & drinks, listen to music, create crafts, learn helpful phrases in the country’s language, take a look at popular attractions/tourist destinations, and learn about the history & culture! Let’s go!

Week 3: June 21-25

Spy kids
Entering Grades 1-5; with educator Sarah Carawan
Your mission, if you choose to accept it… Analyze fingerprints, decipher codes, participate in scavenger hunts, and fine-tune your senses to solve mysteries!

LEGO® Animation
Entering Grades 1-5; with educator Adrienne Springfield
Campers create their own animated films as they work to storyboard, build LEGO sets, & capture stop-motion animation footage. Join us 1 or both weeks!

Animal Training & Rescue

MINECRAFT camp

Do you like video games? Do you like using your imagination & getting creative? If you answered yes to either question, this is the camp for you! Learn about coding, engineering, game design, survival, and animation tips & tricks for your Minecrafting pleasure!

Sports Bootcamp
Entering Grades 6-10; with educator Reid Blakey
It’s time to put some work in! If you accept the challenge, you will be pushed towards your fullest potential. Work on stretching, conditioning, sports psychology, in-game scenarios & sports strategy. One sport per day is our focus, honing our skills & pushing ourselves like we never have before. Let’s get to work!

LEGO® Animation

DIY & Cooking Through the Countries
Entering Grades 3-8; with educator Caylin Kacmarcik
This inspiring camp is for kids who love creating things by hand! Challenge yourself & your imagination. Explore art, innovation, science, laughter, & everything in-between. Later in the day, become a Master Chef! Learn culinary techniques & kitchen tricks while preparing meals from different countries.

Sports Camp
Entering Gr. 1-6; with educator Vickie Shen
Focusing on a different sport each day, we’ll learn about the history, the rules, the jargon, well-known athletes, watch historical sports clips, and of course, play the game!

Mad scientists
Entering Grades 1-5; with educator Sarah Carawan
Calling all scientists & problem-solvers! Use the scientific method, mindful observations, & exciting experiments to explore the world around you. Also learn how to safely (& creatively!) transform used & unwanted materials into something new & exciting. Be prepared to get a little messy while having lots of fun with friends!

Star Wars: Jedi Academy
Entering Grades 3-8; with educator Reid Blakey
You’ve been selected as a potential Jedi; in order to earn your Knighthood, you must graduate from the Jedi Academy. Learn about all things Star Wars from history to films, comic books to tv shows! Train in the Jedi arts with Star Wars-themed arts & crafts, games, sports, cooking… everything to help you master the Force!
