It’s tax season. Use your tax dollars to benefit student scholarships!
When you make a donation to a qualified Student Tuition Organization (STO), you are redirecting your tax dollars to provide need-based scholarships. School Tuition Organizations are non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations that provide tuition scholarships to students in grades K-12 attending qualified private schools in the state of Arizona. Scholarships are made possible by the generous support of individuals and corporations, who receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on the Arizona state income tax they owe, up to annual allowable limits.
In other words, your contribution is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit that reduces your Arizona tax liability, so you can help provide tuition scholarships for JGS students at no cost!

Tax Dollar RE-DIRECT Competition
JGS students in all grade levels are competing to help raise the most money in tax-dollar redirection and the excitement is building! Foundations is leading the charge with the most dollars redirected so far! But the race isn’t over yet—every class has a chance to win! To participate, visit this link.
School-Wide Impact:
So far, an incredible $142,095 has been redirected for the 2024 tax year, directly supporting JGS students. But we’re not stopping there—our goal is 100% participation across ALL classes! Even small contributions add up to make a BIG difference!
Every JGS family can take advantage of the dollar-for-dollar AZ tax credit, meaning it costs you nothing out of pocket to support our school! Simply redirect your tax dollars and help your child’s class climb the leaderboard! Spread the word! Share this opportunity with AZ family, friends, and neighbors—every redirection counts! Become an STO Committee Room Parent
We are looking for Room Parents to help support our school community by assisting fellow parents in understanding how Scholarships through School Tuition Organizations (STOs) work. Many families at JGS rely on these scholarships, and your role as a Room Parent will be to help share information, answer basic questions, and guide families toward valuable resources.
No prior experience with STOs? No problem! We will provide training and materials to ensure you feel confident in this role. Your support can make a big difference in helping families access the funding they need!

For our small school, every penny makes the difference in terms of the programming that we’re able to offer: targeted daily FLEX hours, small classes, specialized reading programs, occupational and speech therapies, social and emotional learning, (and more!). Before coming to JGS, many of our children were at high risk of academic failure; however, we are paving the way to higher education, career exploration, and a lifetime of confidence and success!
