About Jared: Jared has been a professional tutor for more than twelve years and taught high school students at The Jones-Gordon School for three years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in education, social science, and English from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. He holds an Arizona teaching certificate in secondary English, Science, and Social Studies. He has helped students of all ages improve their skills in nearly every subject! Jared has taught students of all abilities including those with learning differences such as ADHD, autism, and traumatic brain injuries. He believes that learning is a very personal journey, and he loves it when his students tell him that he explains concepts better than their classroom teachers do. 🙂 In his spare time, Jared enjoys playing disc golf, creating wire sculptures, and writing.
