We’re excited to introduce our new High School Co-English Teacher, Joy Ivy! With a Master’s degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English Language Arts and five years of experience in various educational roles, including as a classroom teacher, Teach For America corps member, learning coordinator, and college and career coach, Joy brings a wealth of expertise to her teaching practice. Ms. Joy is committed to fostering a joy for learning and making literature come alive for our students. Her innovative approach incorporates storytelling, personal reflection, and future-oriented thinking, ensuring that students not only engage deeply with the material but also see its relevance to their lives beyond the classroom.
