Director of Curriculum & Instruction Jennifer Ellerbee, is a driven educator who is passionate about helping teachers connect curriculum content and instructional best practices, so they may deliver meaningful academic experiences for their students. Jennifer graduated from Arizona State University with dual Bachelor degrees in English (B.A.) and Secondary Education (B.A.E.) and earned a Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University in Educational Leadership – Curriculum and Instruction (M.Ed.). Jennifer has over 10 years experience in education, including teaching English and English Language Arts to high school and middle school students, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Humanities education, and as an Assistant Director of Academics at a nationwide charter school network. Jennifer has authored/co-authored published educational articles such as “Six Research-based Best Practices for Teaching Social Studies” (The Chronicle | Summer 2019) and “Six Strategies to Stimulate Literacy at Home” (Parents Guide LV | November 2019). In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, being involved in her church community, and activities such as paddleboarding, hiking, reading, cooking, and yoga.
