Middle School Science Educator

Joining The Jones-Gordon School for his first year as the Middle School Science teacher, Anthony Carter is bringing his knowledge as an engineer to bolster our students’ STEM experience. He graduated from DeVry University in Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering in 2006. Mr. has a particularly unique appreciation for the students at JGS, as he himself has both dyslexia and ADHD. As a teacher, he enjoys connecting with his students and thrives on them reaching their ‘ah-ha!’ lightbulb moments. He loves taking the things he enjoyed as a student and turning them into exciting avenues of exploration for those in his classroom. Outside of school, Mr. Anthony’s number one hobby is music, as he finds it helps his brain slow down. He also enjoys working as a multimedia artist and finds solace in making things with his hands.
